Chocolate Hair & Face Mask Recipe with Betonite Clay

This Chocolate Hair & Face Mask recipe is a nice starter if you've never used chocolate on your hair.
It should be used as a deep natural cleanser, as Bentonite Clay is a cleansing clay.
The Cocoa Powder in this recipe is a powerhouse ingredient.
Eating moderate, reasonable amounts of chocolate (cocoa) - dark and unsweetened preferably - boosts our brainpower, enhances the health of our arteries, and contains antioxidants which reduce high blood pressure, decrease cholesterol and boost circulation.
Dark chocolate also nourishes our skin.
The flavonols in dark chocolate help the skin to protect itself from sunburn and other UV damage. It also contains vitamins A, B1, C, D and E which help to moisturize our skin and give it a healthy glow.
Chocolate is excellent for our hair too! Dark chocolate is full of vitamins and minerals - including magnesium, which helps in treating hair loss - that add vibrancy, shine, and VOLUME to our strands
CHOCOLATE HAIR & FACE MASK RECIPE

- 3/4 cup Bentonite clay
- 1/3 cup Cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup Coconut oil
- 1/4 cup Aloe Vera Juice
- 2 tbsp Raw Honey
- 3-5 drops tea tree or peppermint oil
- 2 cups (or more as needed) semi-boiling water
DIRECTIONS
First, mix the Cocoa Powder and Bentonite Clay in a medium-size bowl. Then add room temperature Coconut Oil. Next, add the hot water and use a stainless steel whisk or wooden spoon to mix.
At first, it will be super lumpy but just keep going. It will get smoother.
Finally, combine all the remaining ingredients and whisk until smooth, allow to cool. Apply to slightly damp hair with a dye brush if available. Allow it to dry for at least an hour. Rinse and apply your favorite conditioner.
