Is VIP a physical product? Will something be shipped?

VIP is not a physical product, it is a Monthly Subscription Membership and nothing will be shipped to you as part of your monthly subscription.

You will only recieve the 900 Spoons and Perks of Membership, unless you participate in a specific gift promotion like our VIP Mug Giveaways.

I'm currently a CurlMix Fresh subscriber, Why should I become a VIP? What makes it different?

A VIP gets the most value for their money as well as the most flexibility on how they save on their favorite CurlMix products.

You get 900 Spoons, a 15% member discount for all other purchases, exclusive access, gifts, and much more all for just $65 per month!

You can even use your Spoons to pay for your CurlMix Fresh Subscription!

Should I cancel my other subscriptions now that I am VIP?

No, your VIP Membership is a new and separate subscription and with all those extra Spoons you will be earning you can redeem them to get discounts on upcoming subscriptions and even CurlMix Fresh.

When will I be charged for my VIP Membership?

You will be charged $65 every 4 weeks for your VIP Membership. You can view and edit your next charge date on the Manage Your Subscriptions page in your CurlMix Account. You will also receive a reminder in your email prior to your charge date.

What if I need to skip, pause, or cancel my membership?

You can skip, pause, or cancel your VIP membership at any time in your CurlMix Account. You will keep any Spoons you earned during your time.

Can I get a refund for my VIP Membership?

Unfortunately, membership sales are non-refundable. If you would like to skip, pause, or cancel you must do so before your order processes. Once your order is processed you will get your Spoons immediately and if you cancel you will keep any Spoons you have earned.

Is there a limit to how many times I can skip?

No, just make sure to skip before your charge date because once the order processes it will not be eligible for a refund.

What if I don’t spend my Spoons do they expire?

You don’t have to spend your Spoons right away you can stack them and splurge on a shopping spree. Any points you have will expire after 12 months of inactivity on your account.

Can I purchase multiple VIP Memberships?

No, unfortunately, only one membership per person is allowed.

Can I combine my VIP 15% Off Discount and Spoons?

No, you may only redeem one offer at a time and they cannot be combined or stacked. You have the flexibility to pay with Spoons or use your discount on any one-time order to get you the best value.

Can I use my Spoons to buy a VIP Membership or get a discount on VIP?

No, you cannot pay for Spoons with Spoons.

If you apply a Spoons discount to your VIP Membership or purchase VIP with Spoons the order will be removed by our team and your Spoons will be refunded.

How do I redeem my Spoons?

Login to your CurlMix Account and you can redeem your Spoons for money off your next order directly in checkout using our Spoons Slider.

Also, in your Account you can redeem Spoons for coupons and subscription discounts.

Can I use my spoons/points on my subscriptions?

What is CurlMix Fresh?

CurlMix Fresh is a special part of the CurlMix family that means: small batch, handmade, and of course, limited quantities :)

Each quarter the new CurlMix Fresh kit will be a surprise of at least 6 NEW treats for either your hair, face, or body and some awesome free gifts!

When you subscribe, you'll automatically get a NEW KIT and you'll save some cash on each kit too!

CurlMix Fresh products will not be part of CurlMix Mainstays, and once a kit is gone, the products will never be seen again.

The only way to guarantee your kit is to subscribe.

How do CurlMix Fresh Subscriptions work?

Step 1: Once you've made the amazing decision to become a subscriber to CurlMix Fresh, you only need to do this once, and then you're in the club!

Step 2: Once you're a subscriber, you'll be charged every 12 weeks based on your initial purchase date for each quarter's CurlMix Fresh.

You will never be charged more than once per quarter, unless you have multiple subscriptions.

Orders will ship beginning at the last month of each quarter.

New kits will be announced on the 1st day of each quarter.

Why is my CurlMix not here yet? I purchased CurlMix Fresh and non-CurlMix Fresh products too.

If you purchase CurlMix products at the same time as you purchase CurlMix Fresh, your products may be delayed until the ship date of your CurlMix Fresh Kit.

We strongly suggest placing a separate order for CurlMix Fresh and CurlMix Classic products!

Can I purchase CurlMix Fresh without a subscription?

Unfortunately no, CurlMix Fresh is subscription only. No one-off purchases.

I liked a CurlMix Fresh Product, when is it coming back?

Unfortunately, there are no guarantees that any CurlMix Fresh product will ever return but if they do come back VIP's will get first dibs.

I loved the CurlMix Fresh Gift, can I buy it separately?

Unfortunately, no. If you want multiple gifts you must purchase multiple kits. There is no guarantee that any gifts will ever be sold again.

When will CurlMix Fresh Ship?

HAIR AND PRODUCT QUESTIONS

What if I'm allergic to a few things?

Ingredients may have been derived from corn, soy, wheat, and/or nut products. They may have also been produced in a facility that makes those products. So please review the product pages and/or labels for your allergens prior to your first use and/or purchase.

If you are unsure of your allergens, we recommend conducting an "Area/Patch Test" as described below:

Area/Patch Test

This test allows you to test a small area of your skin for 24 hours before applying the treatment to a larger area. We recommend rubbing the CurlMix mixture on the skin near your elbow, covering it with a bandage for 24 hours and if there is no allergic response (redness, itchiness, swelling) then apply the treatment as directed in the instructions. If you have an allergic reaction, we do not recommend the use of CurlMix and suggest that you seek a medical professional’s consultation.

Will my products be all natural and organic?

Yes, we will only provide natural and/or organic ingredients. We keep our labels simple, so you can understand exactly what's on your hair. All ingredient information is on each individual product page.

Do I need to refrigerate CurlMix?

No, the water-based products include a preservative. This includes all of the Pure Flaxseed Gels ,Pure Avocado Moisturizers, Pure Aloe Vera Shampoo, and Pure Grapeseed Conditioner.

The Pure Regrowth Serum and Pure Hair & Body Butter do not need preservatives, as they don't include water.

How long will my CurlMix products last?

Approximately 2 years if unopened. Once opened store in a cool dry place. Always review your products for changes in color, texture, or smell before you use them. If you are worried play it safe and reach out us Contact Us

What preservative do you use?

Optiphen PLUS.

Optiphen Plus is a paraben- and formaldehyde-free preservative system that is ideal for products with a lower pH system. Optiphen Plus is an ISP patent-pending liquid preservative formulation featuring an innovative blend of phenoxyethanol, sorbic acid and an emollient base that is ideal for slightly acidic personal care products requiring broad-spectrum protection.

The combination of all three ingredients offers effective protection against bacteria, yeast and mold growth while imparting emolliency.

Are CurlMix products safe to use on color treated hair?

Yes they are! But we always suggest speaking to your licensed stylist and/or colorist and conducting a patch test just to be sure. We do not currently recommend DIY hair color.

Should I rinse out my Conditioner (Step 2)?

Yes, unless specified as a leave-in, always rinse out your conditioner and deep conditioners after your treatments are complete.

Can I mix CurlMix with another brand products?

No, we do not recommend mixing CurlMix with products from another brand. CurlMix is specifically formulated to work best together, as a system and we cannot be sure of your results with other products. We also recommend a detox or deep cleanse prior to using CurlMix to remove build up from past products that could hurt your results with CurlMix.

SHIPPING QUESTIONS AND POLICY

When will I receive my CurlMix?

CurlMix Processing and Shipping Policy:


Step #1: Processing Time
Please allow up to 5 business days (not including weekends or holidays), for us to process your order. All of our products are handcrafted with high-quality ingredients and take a bit longer to prepare.

Step #2: Shipping Time
After your order has been processed, please allow additional time for your CurlMix package to arrive! Then you are all set to enjoy your CurlMix experience!

*Possible Carrier Shipping Delays: During the holiday season or COVID-19 things can get really busy for shipping carriers. Therefore, you may experience delays that are not at the fault of CurlMix.

Can I speed up my shipping and processing?

Yes, CurlMix offers free shipping through USPS but you can upgrade to 1 Day Processing and 2 Day Shipping via FedEx at Checkout.

Why is my CurlMix not here yet?

Common Delays

1). If you purchase CurlMix products at the same time as you purchase CurlMix Fresh, please know that all of your items will ship on the date in which your CurlMix Fresh will ship.

2). Deliveries may be sent to front desks, mailrooms, package lockers, neighbors, or stored at your local post office, shipping provider office. Use your tracking number to reach out to your shipping provider directly.

3). Lost or stolen packages. Please use your tracking information to reach out to your shipping provider directly to locate your package or open a case. If you have a case number please Contact Us for further assistance.

What happens if I gave you all the incorrect shipping address?

Incorrect Shipping Address Policy

1). The purchaser is responsible for providing the correct mailing address. Before finalizing your order, be certain your shipping address is correct.

2). We are not responsible for goods delivered to the wrong address that was input at the time of ordering.

3). If you happen to notice that you entered the wrong address, you can Contact Us with the correct shipping address before your shipping label is created.

4). Once your shipping label is created, we will not be responsible for the incorrect address & the subsequent delivery.

My tracking information shows that my CurlMix package was "Returned to Sender". What do I do now?

Returned to Sender Policy


1). If a package is returned to CurlMix due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by a customer, the package was refused, or if the customer was not home for delivery, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping cost, as well as, any additional delivery cost.

2). CurlMix is not responsible for packages delivered incorrectly or lost due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by a customer.

3). No refunds will be provided if any part of the address is incorrect or if the package was refused.

My CurlMix order arrived damaged. What should I do?

If your product arrived damaged, we are so sorry about that! Please Contact Us and we will gladly assist you.

Does CurlMix ship internationally?

We’re sorry, we do not yet ship internationally. We also do not accommodate any requests for freight forwarding or mail forwarding and we are not responsible for any documentation, taxes, customs, or duties incurred in violation of this policy.

What is the CurlMix Subscription Policy?

Subscription products are automatically delivered based on your selected schedule.

You are also charged based on your schedule (Every 4 weeks, every 6 weeks, or every 8 weeks) for CurlMix Classic products with a 20% discount, and free shipping.

CurlMix Fresh is automatically billed and shipped Quarterly (Every 12 weeks), no discount, free shipping

CurlMix VIP Membership is automatically billed Monthly (Every 4 weeks), no discount, no shipping required.

How do I cancel my CurlMix subscription?

Once you have activated your CurlMix account, log in to your CurlMix account and select "Manage Subscriptions". You can edit, skip, pause, change dates, and even cancel all on your own. We recommend canceling a minimum of (7) days prior to your next subscription billing cycle.

How do I change/swap the product(s) in my current CurlMix subscription?

Once you have activated your CurlMix account, you can login to create a new subscription by purchasing the new product with a subscription plan and canceling the old CurlMix subscription, prior to your next subscription billing cycle.

How do I change the billing information for my CurlMix subscription?

Once you have activated your CurlMix account, you can login, and select "Manage Subscriptions" and scroll down to the bottom of the page to manage the billing information for your CurlMix subscription.

Can I skip a month of my CurlMix subscription?

Yes, once you have activated your CurlMix account, you can login, and manage the date you are charged for your upcoming subscription, as well as, manage the frequency in which you are charged for your subscriptions. You can also edit, skip, pause, change dates, and even cancel all on your own.

Schedules for CurlMix Fresh (Quarterly/12 weeks) and VIP Memberships (Monthly/4 weeks) cannot be changed but you can skip, pause, or change your charge date.

Where is my subscriber gift?

Our gift with general subscription offer has ended as of 12/31/21.
